E4. Other characteristics of academic policies:

Students are required to complete distribution requirement of at least three graded semester courses in each division (Languages and Arts; Social Studies; and Science and Mathematics). In addition, each student must complete one graded semester course primarily concerned with (a) the peoples and cultures of North America that trace their origins to Africa, Asia, Latin America, Oceania, or the Carribean; Native American peoples and their cultures; or (b) the peoples and cultures of Africa, Asia, Latin America, Oceania, or the Carribean.  Students must complete nine to ten courses in the major discipline.  Student must successfully complete thirty-two courses and four winter study courses are required to graduate.
