To the Williams Community,
We have lost another member of the College and local community with the death yesterday of Brian Moran.
Since joining the College as a carpenter in 1985, Brian was known as an excellent craftsman, for being dedicated to his job, and for his warm personality. He loved basketball and was a devoted fan of the College's men's team. He helped each year to build the Commencement stage -- a point of particular pride for him.
His large family has many ties to Williams and Williamstown. They include, from his immediate family, his brother Joe Moran, Manager of Safety and Environmental Compliance, and sister Chris Mason, Custodian.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family and with all whose lives Brian touched.
