From Da Vinci to Iraq to Metaphor: Annual Williams Faculty Public Lectures

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass., Feb. 4, 2008 -- Six Williams College faculty member's research will be showcased in the annual Public Lecture Series beginning Thursday, Feb. 7. Satyan Devadoss, associate professor of mathematics leads off the series with a lecture titled "Reclaiming Da Vinci:  Art, Visualization, Mathematics.

The lectures continue with a different faculty member each Thursday through March 13.  Each of the lectures are scheduled for 4 p.m. in the Wege Auditorium in the Science Quad  on the Williams campus. The public is cordially invited to attend and the lectures are free.
