When to Get Medical Help for Your Cold or Flu

If you have:

  • A temperature of 102 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • A temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit for more than 3 days.

  • A severe cough with fever and chills.

  • A sore throat, fever and swollen glands.

  • Painful sinus congestion that won't go away.

  • Severe pain in your head, chest, stomach or ears.

  • Symptoms that last longer than 2 weeks.
