It is an alternative to carrying cash. You may either pay cash or charge EPH Dollars to your account in the Dining Services Office Mon. - Fri. from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. in Droppers House. EPH Dollars carry over through your senior year, but are non-refundable.

Meal Plan Changes

You must present your ID Card to enter a dining hall, use the points or the cash equivalency systems, or to change your meal plan. Remember that all resident students must participate in the Full-, 14-, or 10- meal board plan. All First-Year students will be assigned the Full Board Plan and must remain on the Full Board Plan for the duration of their first year. Those who wish to change their plan may do so in the Dining Services Office during first semester between September 14th and 18th and for second semester between February 8th and 12th. These are the only times that you may make such changes.

ID Cards

Your ID card not only identifies you, but its use is recorded in the central processing unit so you may enter a dining hall. Students are reminded that a valid college ID is required in order to dine at our venues. In the instance a student does not have their card, a $5.00 processing fee will be accessed.

If you lose your card, you must report it immediately to Campus Safety & Security (CSS) so that your card can be deactivated. You are responsible for the unauthorized use of your lost or stolen card until you report its loss. CSS will replace lost or stolen cards and assess a charge of $10. If you lose your card over a weekend, and it is replaced by CSS, and you have it validated in the Dining Services Office on the following Monday before dinner, you will only be assessed a $5 processing fee.

House Entry Dinners and Cookouts

House Entry dinners will be available by pre-arrangement with a Dining Services Manager, once each semester. You may choose from one of our special dinner menus.

In addition to the Entry dinners, there will be early fall and late spring cookouts (4 working days advance notice). Your Housing Coordinator or entry Junior Advisor must make arrangements for these (in person) at the Dining Services Office between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at Droppers House.

We make every effort to accommodate medical and religious dietary needs. Students are encouraged to set up a meeting with the Executive Chef as soon as they begin dining with us. We offer packaged Kosher and Halaal options and observe cultural holidays centered around food in our dining halls. Click here for information on Special Meals.
