Meal Plan Changes for Upperclassmen
Upperclassmen who wish to change their meal plan may do so in the Dining Services Office at Droppers House or can email dining@williams.edu anytime between February 8th and 12th. These are the only times that you may make such changes.
Recipes from Home
Our annual Recipes from Home contest will begin on Monday, February 4, 2010. This is a fun and exciting way to involve students and their families with our menu selections. For the past 16 years we have asked students and their families to submit their favorite recipe. It can be for a meat or vegetarian/vegan entrée, vegetable, starch, soup, salad, salad dressing, bread, or dessert. A panel of judges will test recipes and selections will be made based on presentation, taste, texture, and the ability to adapt them to our larger quantity and service requirements. All selected recipes will be served in our dining halls on Thursday, April 22, 2010 with the students voting for their favorites.
Dining Services points valued at $25 will be added to all students’ accounts whose recipes are selected for the contest. The grand prize, determined by the students, will be worth $50 in Dining Services points and will be added to the accounts.
The recipe deadline is Friday, March 12, 2010. Please send us one recipe via email at dining@williams.edu or via mail to: Recipe from Home, Williams College Dining Services, Droppers House, 15 Park Street, Williamstown, MA 01267.
