Policies Affecting Conference Planners
Four-night minimum:
There is a four-night minimum for organizations wishing to conduct conferences at Williams.
Two-meal-per-day minimum:
Conferences must plan to have their participants eat at least two meals per day in Williams' dining halls.
Insurance
The organization planning a conference will need to
provide proof of insurance to the College.
Smoking/Liquor:
No smoking is allowed in or within 25 feet of any campus building. Individuals found with alcoholic beverages while on any public way or in a public place will be fined by the town of Williamstown. No person associated with your program under the age of 21 may consume alcoholic beverages while at the program.
Pets:
The College does not permit pets to be brought to or housed upon campus.
Damage:
Your organization and participants will be held jointly and severally responsible and liable to the College for any and all losses, damages or thefts caused by your organization and/or its guests, including replacement of lost keys, linen and library books, and damage done to College property caused by same.
Recycling:
Mandatory recycling is in effect for paper and bottles and cans.
