MATH 301(F) Real Analysis
The real and complex number systems. Elementary topology of the real line and plane. Functions of a single variable: limits, continuity, differentiability, the Riemann and Riemann-Stieltjes integrals. Sequences, series and uniform convergence. Elementary topology of metric spaces and functions on metric spaces with emphasis on R. Evaluation will be based primarily on performance on problem assignments, projects, and exams.
