HIST 353 Nazi Germany (Not offered 1997-98)

This seminar will explore in some detail the history of Nazi Germany. Topics 
to be considered include: National Socialist ideology; the personality and 
politics of Adolf Hitler; the Nazi seizure of power; the Nazi social and psychological 
revolution; Nazi culture; the Holocaust; and the legacy of Nazism. 
Evaluation in the course will be based on class participation, weekly reading 
responses, and a research paper.
