MUS 223T Music Technology II
Advanced studies in computer music to include the creation of works and/or software design. This course focuses on sound synthesis. Programs include C Sound and interactive software. Students will complete a number of assignments designed to develop skill with the programs studied in class, in addition to quizzes and a final composition project. This course is designed for students with musical literacy. Knowledge and proficiency with musical notation is required. Some experience with computer programming is desirable.
Prerequisite: Music 123 Music Technology I or Music 103 and permission of instructor. Due to the limitations of the electronic studio, enrollment will be limited to 9.
