This course prepares students for Mathematics 103, first semester calculus. The
course begins with a brief review of algebra followed by a thorough treatment of
algebraic, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions from a graphical, analytical
and applied point of view.
Format: lecture. Evaluation will be based primarily on homework, quizzes, and/or exams.
Prerequisites: placement by a Quantitative Studies Counselor or permission of
instructor. Enrollment limit: (expected: 15).
