ARTS 480(S) Advanced Photography

This course is an upper-level independent study in the theory and practice of the expanded field of photography. Throughout the semester, students will meet with visiting artists for studio visits, group critiques, slides/screenings, fieldtrips, and the discussion of readings. This course is appropriate for students with substantial knowledge of digital and/or traditional photography who are ready to direct their own research and production to create an independent portfolio.
