CSCI 338(F) Parallel Processing

Parallel Processing An introduction to the fundamentals of parallel processing. This course investigates the design implementation, and theoretical analysis of efficient algorithms for a variety of parallel architectures. Parallel hardware and simulators will be used to implement several programming assignments. Prerequisites: Computer Science 256, or Computer Science 237. Note: This course will be offered by Prof. James Teresco, who is joining the department's faculty in the fall of 2000. Students registering for the course should check with the instructor in the fall for any changes to the course content or prerequisites.
