The Music Department offers a wide variety
of courses appropriate to both the major and the general student.

Applied lessons in voice, keyboard and most
orchestral instruments are available for half-credit under
Music 251. These must be taken in addition to four full-credit
courses, and may be taken pass/fail or graded, as with all
fifth courses. There is a fee of $550 charged for these lessons;
the college subsidizes them in the following amounts: Music
Majors =$400 (cost to student $150), Non-majors=$200 (cost
to student $350)

Advanced students may consider lessons under
Music 325/428 Special Studies in the Musical Art. Consult the
