Summer Interns at the MCC

Bridges Coordinator

As the Bridges Coordinator, you will plan and organize the events, paraphrenalia, and publicity for the Bridges freshmen mid-orientation program. The goal is to create fun and creative programming that incorporates members of the Williams and surrounding community in order to convey a holistic view of diversity on and off campus during orientation. You will get to meet and work with amazing and varied community leaders, Bridges facilitators and the MCC staff. In addition, the Bridges Coordinator helps brainstorm and plan events at the MCC for the upcoming year.

Annual Report Editor

The position of the Annual Report Writer is occupied each year by a student interested in multicultural affairs and the job entails the compilation and documentation of MCC and MinCo activities throughout the academic year. The position, while structured in format by the preceding year's activities, allows a considerable amount of flexibility and creativity to the Report Writer, giving the report a dynamic appearance with each edition.

MCC Webmaster

Each summer the MCC hires one student to update various portions of the web page. Common tasks from year to year will include updating the photo gallery, staff profiles and the events listing. In addition to these yearly responsibilities the intern may also increase the functionality, aesthetic appeal and/or the ease of use of the site.
