Speaker Profile: Emily Cheng
Emily Cheng has exhibited in the US and internationally. Her solo shows include Winston, Wachter, Mayer Gallery in Manhattan, Schmidt Dean Gallery in Philadelphia, Hanart Gallery in Hong Kong, Metropolitan Museum of Manila, Philippines, Bravin Post Lee Gallery in New York, Byron Cohen Gallery in Kansas City, MO., The Bronx Museum, and the Cincinatti Center of Contemporary Art, Ohio. Her current exhibition is at the Kidspace Gallery at MASS MoCA, MA. Emily has a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design, and studied at the New York Studio School. She is the recipient of a fellowship from the New York Foundation of the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts, and a Yaddo Fellowship. Emily teaches Asian Art History at The School of Visual Arts, in New York.
