Our Mission
Bridges recognizes and welcomes the richness in diversity of our Williams students. Open to all students, the program will provide forums to discuss ways of working toward a stronger diverse community with greater levels of inclusion and participation. As a participant in bridges you will meet other first year students, upper-class students, alumni, faculty, and staff. You will have the opportunity to understand how gender, race, nationality, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic class, parental background, hometown, physical ability etc. have informed their experiences at Williams and in the world. They will provide with you a glimpse of Williams College, and introduce you to a network of resources, friends and support in the Williams community.
Getting Connected During First Days
