Since its founding in 1901, the Toledo Museum of Art has earned a global reputation for the quality its collection, innovative education programs, and the architecturally significant campus. The postmodern Glass Pavilion opened in 2006, and is the new home of the Toledo Museum of Art’s world-renowned glass collection, featuring more than 5,000 works of art from ancient to contemporary times. The TMA School of Art and Design is a community school that has taught budding artists from ages 3 to 93 years for more than a century. The Toledo Museum of Art collection of more than 30,000 works of art ranks among the finest in the United States. Museum admission is free to the public.
