Stearns History Museum

The nationally accredited Stearns History Museum offers programs using the exhibits and website to help visitors understand the people, land and livelihood of central Minnesota. The Museum, with two floors of exhibits, a research library and mini-theater is an ideal location for a field trip or family visit. Set in a 100-acre park with hiking trails, the grounds make a great place for a picnic. Stimulate your thirst for knowledge in the Research Library with more then 500,000 photographs, 1,000 precious documents, maps, newspapers and more. You can visit with an archivist to learn how to do research projects or identify appropriate resources in the research center.
