Language Fellow in Chinese
Here are my heartfelt greetings to you.
I am from Taipei, Taiwan (The Republic of China). Taiwan is a warm and friendly subtropical island, on the far side of the Pacific Ocean. I study in the Graduate Institute of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, working diligently on my thesis, and thus striving to be a real Chinese teacher in the future. Since this is my first time to be (and even work…!) in The States, I hope you will kindly remind me of anything I do that is not acceptable in your culture. I love languages, poetry and nice food. If you are equally crazy for learning world languages, writing and appreciating poetry or simply are a gastronome, I believe we can be great friends. I am now at Williams working with professors from the Department of Asian Studies for classes of the Chinese language. If you are interested in any aspects about the Chinese (along with Taiwanese) language, literature and culture, I will be very happy to help, and I am sure I will be equally interested in yours.

我來自台灣（中華民國）台北市。台灣是一個亞熱帶的海島，位在太平洋的彼岸，是一個溫暖、有人情味的小地方。我在國立台灣師範大學研究華語文教學，目前正積極投入論文寫作，未來的目標自然是成為一個能真正獨當一面的華語教師。由於這是我第一次來美國（而且是來工作的！），若是有所冒犯之處，尚請海涵，並請好心提點提點小弟吧。
