Russian Department is small and full of people with personalities as bright
and interesting as Catherine the Great and Nicholas the Second. When you
take Russian at Williams, you'll have the chance to get to know your professor,
as well as the other students in your class. You'll also be able to get
involved in a number of different extracurricular activities that will
let you meet the Russian department's TA from Moscow and spend time cooking
or eating Russian food at your professor's house. Taking Russian is a
wonderful way to create the quintessential liberal arts experience for
yourself at Williams with small classes and professors and students who'll
take an interest in your ideas and contributions.
