Many students spend their summer doing research, either
at Williams College or elsewhere. During summer 2007, there were approximately 60 students
working with Williams Biology faculty either here on campus, or at Woods Hole
Marine Biological lab (with Professor Savage), or at Isle Royale (with Professors
Edwards and Smith). This site has descriptions of various student activities
during the summer of 2005 [available only to the Williams community].
Here's a link to the application form for doing summer research at Williams. Interested students should submit this application by February 18th. Faculty who will be hiring summer research assistants are: Art, Banta, Edwards, Hutson, Lynch, Morales, and Ting. Here's a link to descriptions of their research.
