• Randall Lindquist '00, a Rockefeller University graduate student in Nussenzweig’s Laboratory of Molecular Immunology is the co-first author of findings in Nature Immunology. More information is available here.
• Jessica Purcell '02 and Alan Brelsford '01 , now graduate students at the University of British Columbia, authored an article in American Scientist titled "The World's Highest Forest" during Fall 2004. It is available here with membership.
• Alvaro Sagasti '96 was the recipient of a Burroughs-Wellcome Career Award in the Biomedical Sciences in 2004. This award is given to only 18 postdoctoral researchers each year and provides $500,000 over a 5-year period to support the awardees research. Alvaro is currently an assistant professor at UCLA.
• Le Paliulis '97 received her PhD in Cell Biology from Duke University and is currentkly a post-doc in Kerry Bloom's lab at University of North Carolina. While at Williams, Le did honors research in Wendy Raymond's lab. Here are a few of the publications from her graduate research in Bruce Nicklas's lab:

• Maya Kumar '96 finished her PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology in Doug Melton's lab at Harvard and just started a postdoc in Mark Krasnow's lab at Stanford. While at Williams, Maya did independent research in Dan Lynch's lab, summer research with Hank Art, and also spent a summer in a research lab at NIH. Justin Wright '96 is currently an assistant professor at Duke University studying biodiversity/comunity ecology. At Williams he did an honors research project in Heather Williams' lab; he received his PhD fromCornell University and did post-doctoral research at Unioversity of Waashingtn and Columbia University.
