Biochemical Pathways--access any enzyme, any metabolic pathway you want via a digitized version of the Boehringer-Mannheim metabolic pathways wall chart

Cell pathways--BioCyc is a collection of Pathway/Genome Databases put together by SRI International. Each database in the BioCyc collection describes the genome and metabolic pathways of a single organism--currently there are databases for 13 microbes plus humans. Explore!--there are many useful tools and features!!

Intel-United Devices Cancer Research Project--volunteer your PC to do cancer or smallpox research; This project allows your computer to screen molecules that may be developed into drugs to fight these diseases. Each individual computer analyzes a few molecules and then sends the results back over the Internet for further research. The goal is to enlist enough volunteers to provide very rich and thorough results to the University of Oxford for further research. This project is anticipated to be the largest computational chemistry project ever undertaken and represents a genuine hope to find a better way to fight disease. [latest project news]
