Linda Reynolds is the Art Department Visual Resources Curator, who oversees production and cataloguing of art images used for teaching and learning within the Williams Community. The Lawrence Hall Visual Resources Center and the Slide Library in the Clark Art Institute provide the community with an extensive collection of slide and photographic images. The Lawrence Hall Visual Resources Center is developing a substantial digital image collection, focusing on collecting specific course images not readily found in online databases.
Linda served as the Primary contact/Team leader during the ARTstor Beta testing, which took place at Williams in 2003. She has also twice served as a sponsor for the Williams Interns in Technology summer program, working on both a Lantern Slide Image Preservation project as well as the Lane Faison Video. She has recently served on three Williams College committees; the administrative council, childcare council and benefits committee.
Formerly a pediatric physical therapist, Linda came to the Visual Resources Center by way of a long-time interest in photography and a resulting career change. She is a graduate of the Williams College and Clark Art Institute Graduate Program in the History of Art. She has been active in the national Visual Resources Association, recently completing a term as Executive Board Secretary.
