The Visual Resources Center supports both the creation of new slides or digital images by flatbed scanning, copystand photography or purchase per request by any member of the Williams College undergraduate community. As this is a transitional era for art images, a slide image may also be made at the same time upon request.
Check both the slide and digital collection first to avoid duplication.
-
Bring the materials to be photographed to the Visual Resources Center. If you wish to order a slide from a digital image, you may email the digital image with a request to
Linda Reynolds.
-
Fill out an image request form for each image, including all information requested for the database record/slide label.
-
Include the date requested, date needed, and your email address.
-
If the object is oversized and must be out-sourced for professional photography, the charge will be born by the non-faculty requestor.
