One of the reasons I so enjoy my architecture career is my contact with students at Williams College. Their original take on hackneyed topics and their questioning of long-held beliefs keep my thinking alive, and my designs out of the swamp of stagnation. I have taught here for over fifteen years, and have enjoyed helping my students get into architecture schools, watching their careers begin and then, with any luck, flourish.
When I am not teaching, which is most of the time, I practise architecture with my husband and assorted helpers as Burr & McCallum Architects, here in Williamstown. You can see the sort of work we do on our web site at: http://www.burrandmccallum.com
We have won a flattering assortment of awards over our career, and last May I became a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.
