A few ideas about teaching and making art:
--Be generous.
--Make and speak about what you know.
  Otherwise, ask questions.
--Animate thought with emotion.
--Since democracies favor mediocrity, weirdness
  is a healthy stimulant.
--Intuition is not mysterious, it is a non-verbal
evaluation of the present based on past
  experience.
--Chance events should be considered for their
  value.
--Criteria for evaluation shift with a change in
  context.
--There is no hierarchy of materials. Dirt and
    pixels are both good mediums.
-- Avoid being judgmental and focus instead on
what is there. Too often “good” or “bad”
    replaces thoughtful analysis.
--Collaboration should be promoted as a tool for
making art and as a way of life.
