Currently, I am working with
WCMA to bring two traveling exhibitions to campus, which consider similar questions with reference to new material. The first, scheduled to open in January 2004, presents the work of Antoine
Sevruguin, a 19th century photographer of Iran. The second, tentatively scheduled for 2005, brings together the work of seven contemporary artists, each of whom operates somewhere between a
homeland in the Muslim sphere and a home in Europe or the United States.
